Easy Indian dishes
A lot of Indian food is incredibly creamy or deep-fried. As a foreigner it's hard to know which Indian dishes are healthy or unhealthy - especially when the menus here seem to have 20 pages of options! Try to eat dishes that are low on ghee and oil like tandoori and madras. Dishes like korma, passandra, and masala are heavier with cream. Avoid deep-fried breads like naan and go for plain rice or chapati. Also choose plenty of vegetables or dishes with lentils, like daal.
